Carlos Gonzalez

Director

Carlos is a Venezuelan director/cinematographer.  He came to the United States to attend the University of Miami where he studied Architecture.  After receiving his Bachelor of Architecture, Carlos moved to Los Angeles to attend the American Film Institute where he received a Masters in Cinematography.  While at A.F.I. he photographed the thesis film 'Last Breeze of Summer' which received an Academy Award nomination for Best Live Action Short.

He started his directing career in 2004 when he was given the opportunity to direct on the Nickelodeon show, 'The Brothers Garcia'.  Since then he has gone on to direct 'Unfabulous', Emma Roberts breakout show; the hit boy band show 'Big Time Rush'; the Peabody Award winninig show 'Switched at Birth' for Freeform; and the DGA Award winning show '100 Things To Do Before High School'.  Most recently Carlos directed 'Stuck In The Middle', and was Director/Producer on the 3-part Nickelodeon time travel miniseries 'Lost in the West', which premiered as the fourth most watched Basic Cable show over Labor Day weekend.
