LOS ANGELES – The Directors Guild of America released the following statement regarding the Tentative Agreement between SAG-AFTRA and the AMPTP.
“Congratulations to SAG-AFTRA for successfully negotiating a strong new contract that addresses the needs of their members. This year has been an inflection point for our industry. All three Guilds fought for and won strong agreements that contain major gains addressing the unique needs of our respective members. Now, Directors and their teams look forward to getting back to doing what we do best: collaborating with talented writers, actors, craftspeople and crews to create incredible film and television that entertains billions across the world.”
