DGA members and their families enjoyed an afternoon of food, fun and film at Guild Headquarters in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 12 with the inaugural offering of the new Family Screening Series. Following a get-together in the Guild’s lobby where special child-friendly food and drinks were served, the attendees gathered in Theater One for a screening of Director Chris McKay’s The Lego Batman Movie.
The series is scheduled to continue on select dates throughout 2017 with refreshments served in the lobby followed by a family-oriented film. Members are invited to bring their entire families, including toddlers and infants, to enjoy these special matinée events .
The next installment of the series will feature Director Bill Condon’s Beauty and the Beast on Sunday, March 26, 2017. To find subsequent Family Screening Series films, look for the “FS” symbol in the calendar and screenings section of DGA Monthly and online in the events section.
