Los Angeles – The Directors Guild of America has set its schedule for the 64th Annual DGA Awards, DGA President Taylor Hackford announced today. The 64th Annual DGA Awards Dinner will take place on Saturday, January 28, 2012 in the Grand Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland in Los Angeles.
DGA members can vote online or by mail between November 29, 2011 – January 6, 2012 for Feature Film Nomination; between December 12, 2011 – January 4, 2012 for Television Nominations for Comedy Series, Dramatic Series, Movies for Television and Mini-Series, and Musical Variety; and between January 9 – January 27, 2012 for Feature Film Final Ballot.

The DGA Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film has traditionally been one of the industry's most accurate barometers for who will win the Best Director Academy Award. Fifty-seven out of 63 times since the DGA Award's inception in 1949, the DGA Award winner has won the corresponding Best Director Academy Award.
