DGA National Executive Director Jay D. Roth announced today the promotion of Guild executive Charles S. Warn to the position of Assistant Executive Director.
“We have been very fortunate to have Chuck Warn serve the DGA membership for more than 20 years in various communications capacities,” said Roth. “In his new role of Assistant Executive Director, he will utilize his experience and skills on a wide range of assignments as a member of our senior management team.”
Following 15 years as a public relations consultant for the DGA and other industry clients, Roth named Warn the DGA’s National Executive in 1996 to lead the newly created Department of Communications & Public Affairs. In that position, Warn’s responsibilities included the publication of the DGA Magazine, the redesign and expansion of the DGA web site at www.dga.org and media relations.
"The Directors Guild of America has a rich and diverse history that mirrors the development of the American entertainment industry,” said Warn. “I look forward in my new capacity to serving the guild as its members strive to continue to entertain and captivate audiences throughout the world.”
