DGA National Executive Director Jay D. Roth today announced the appointment of New York attorney Susan Panepento as Assistant Eastern Executive Director, effective immediately.
"Susan Panepento is an outstanding addition to the Guild’s management team in our Eastern regional headquarters," said Roth. "She will play a key role in negotiating and enforcing DGA film agreements in our New York office."
Panepento comes to the Directors Guild following six years as an Associate at the Law firm of Cohen, Weiss and Simon where she specialized in the comprehensive representation of national and local unions, including the litigation of claims under federal labor laws and administrative agencies. Prior to that she served as a field examiner and then an attorney with the National Labor Relations Board.
