Atlanta Coordinating Committee Election Results

On October 3, the DGA Atlanta Coordinating Committee (ATLCC) completed their inaugural elections. Director Seith Mann was elected to serve as the Chairperson of the Committee and Director Angela Barnes as the First Vice Chairperson.

About the Chairs

Seith MannSeith Mann
Mann’s directorial credits include the movie for television The Breaks; the pilot episodes of Let the Right One In and Blindspotting; every episode of the multiple Emmy Award-winning series #FREERAYSHAWN; and over fifty episodes of television including Doc, Brilliant Minds, Good American Family, King Shaka, The Walking Dead, Homeland and The Wire. He was nominated for a DGA Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Comedy Series for his Grey’s Anatomy episode “Name of the Game.” Mann has been a DGA member since 2005 and currently serves as the 4th Vice President of the Guild and previously served on the Eastern Directors Council and as a co-chair of the Eastern Diversity Steering Committee.
 

Angela BarnesAngela Barnes
Barnes’ directorial credits include episodes of A Different World, Daredevil: Born Again, Ironheart, Will Trent, Atlanta, Loot, Mythic Quest and Blindspotting. She is also the creative force behind the 2020 viral voting campaign, Get Your Booty to the Poll, which she conceived, produced and directed. Barnes has been a DGA member since 1996 and also serves on the Eastern Directors Council.
About the Atlanta Coordinating Committee

Established in June 2025, the Atlanta Coordinating Committee serves DGA members in the Atlanta area, acting on their behalf as liaison to the Guild, and is responsible for informing members about DGA initiatives and priorities, facilitating the exchange of DGA-related information and outreach among members, advancing professional opportunities for members, and hosting DGA events in the surrounding area.
