In this Season of Giving, Please Take Time to Remember the Directors Guild Foundation

For eight decades, the Directors Guild Foundation (DGF) has continued a rich history of addressing the financial hardship of DGA members with compassion and discretion.

“DGA members everywhere are feeling the desperate uncertainty of an industry that remains in contraction,” said DGF Chair Todd Holland. “For far too many, financial safety nets are strained to breaking.  But with your support, the Directors Guild Foundation can stand beside members in financial crisis with confidential and interest free loans.”

In the face of these challenges, we’ve developed new assistance programs and issued the most loans in our history to achieve the following:

  • Since 2020, provided over $1,000,000 through our flagship Emergency Loan Fund program which has supported members with interest-free emergency loans of $3,000 and standard loans of $10,000.
  • More than $600,000 in contributions for emergency relief – including $250,000 for immediate grants for DGA members through the new DGA Emergency Relief Fund administered by the MPTF.
  • Provided free flu shots to more than 500 DGA members and their families at our annual Health Fairs on both coasts.
  • Since 2023, sponsored over 1,500 members through a six-part financial training seminar for Freelance Employees providing concrete skills to measure and manage personal finances.
