The DGA – working in coalition with IATSE, Teamsters and Basic Crafts – has reached an agreement with the Association of Independent Commercial Producers (AICP) to extend the December 2020 New Agreement on Commercial COVID-19 Safety Protocols by two months. Originally set to expire on April 30, 2021, the agreement has been extended through June 30, 2021.
All parts of the agreement remain intact. The extension gives additional time for the Guild and the AICP to continue monitoring new developments and determine further adjustments as necessary to keep industry workers protected.
