DGA’s Associate Executive Director of Government and International Affairs, Kathy Garmezy, together with Ed Duffy (Teamsters Local 399), and Carlos Cota (IATSE Local 122) accepted the “Legislative Action Award” on behalf of the Entertainment Union Coalition from Art Pulaski, Chief Officer, California Federation of Labor, AFL CIO.
The award was in recognition of the coalition’s extraordinary member mobilization in support of legislative action to pass AB 1839, California’s $330 million film incentive program, to stop runaway production and bring jobs back to California.
