The Guild, the DGA-Producer Health Plans and the MPTF (Motion Picture and Television Fund) recently joined together to offer free flu shot clinics to DGA members in Los Angeles and New York.
Guild members in Los Angeles had two opportunities to receive flu shots, on November 27 at the MPTF Toluca Lake Health Center and again on December 5 at Guild headquarters. The flu shots were offered at the Guild’s New York offices on December 11. The Guild and the Health Plans intend to make the program available again next year.
The free flu shot clinics are just one part of ongoing efforts to continually enhance the accessibility and affordability of health services available to Guild members, including the recent Bridge to Health program as well as future programs that will be announced in the coming months. As always, Los Angeles Health Plan participants can visit any of the six MPTF Health Centers (in Glendale, Hollywood, West Los Angeles, Santa Clarita, Toluca Lake and Woodland Hills) for top quality care from physicians, nurses and other health care practitioners.
