The DGA’s San Francisco Coordinating Committee (SFCC), which represents Northern California Guild members, recently completed the elections to its Executive Committee and welcomed its newest member, Daniel Perez.
Along with Mr. Perez, David Hakim, Bob Mooney and Gino Caputi were nominated to fill the four open posts and will serve for a two-year term. They join sitting members John Slosser, Hiro Narita, Grace Liu, Frank Simeone and Jani Vournas, whose terms expire at the end of 2008.
The Executive Committee also elected former Vice Chair John Slosser as Committee Chair, replacing Paul Martin who had termed-out after having served three years as Vice Chair and a further three as Chair. SFCC member Jani Vournas was elected to the post of Vice Chairman, David Hakim re-elected as Treasurer, and Dan Perez won the position of Secretary.
Currently, The Executive Committee is busy planning its annual summer mixer, scheduled for Thursday, July 31 at the The University Club in San Francisco.
