David B. Dreyfus Joins DGA Legal Team

May 01, 2007

David B. Dreyfus has joined the Guild's legal department as an Associate General Counsel. Dreyfus fills the position created when former Associate General Counsel David Korduner was promoted to General Counsel of the Guild.

Dreyfus will be overseeing the resolution of grievances and arbitration of claims, and working with the Guild's departments on a variety of issues, including compensation, residuals and credits.

"I am honored and excited to join the legal team of such a prestigious organization as the DGA," said Dreyfus. "I look forward to getting to know and work with the members, leaders and staff of the Guild."

Dreyfus was previously a litigation associate with Alschuler Grossman LLP, where his duties included the handling of complex and class action litigation, which included cases involving entertainment and intellectual property issues. He received a B.A. in Microbiology from Miami University (Ohio) in 1995 before earning a J.D. with honors from The Ohio State University College of Law in 1998, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as the Executive Editor of the Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution.
