On April 19, the Western AD/UPM Council’s Education Committee hosted the Republic of Zoom virtual event, Collective Trauma / Collective Healing.

The session, co-hosted by 1st AD John Mattingly and AD/UPM Joe MJ Moore, featured a sit down with Dr. Jack, author of the book “Collective Trauma / Collective Healing.”

During the discussion, Saul shared concepts for how to manage, adapt and heal from the traumatic events a large majority of our community have been experienced by over last few years including: the devastating fires in Los Angeles, the industry shutting down during covid, work stoppage due to the dual strikes, and uncertainty in the workplace due to a contracting and changing industry.
