To assist DGA members in managing their stress and anxiety during the COVID-19 pandemic, on June 18, the Motion Picture & Television Fund (MPTF) presented the online panel discussion, Maintaining Health & Wellness. Nearly 200 members tuned in as MPTF President & CEO, Bob Beitcher, led a discussion with MPTF Chief Innovation Officer, Dr. Scott Kaiser, MD; MPTF Employee Wellness Program Manager, Debi Conocenti, MA, CWWPM and MPTF Director of Campus and Community Based Social Services, Jessica Caughey, LCSW.
During the event, these experts shared practical guidance for managing the stress and isolation that many people are experiencing as a result of the shutdown of production and stay-at-home orders. They also offered solutions on how to best cope with anxieties and concerns associated with the lifting of recent restrictions.
