Simon Curtis: My Week with Marilyn

Director Simon Curtis (Cranford, A Short Stay in Switzerland) spoke to the audience about the making of his new feature My Week with Marilyn.

The film is based on the true story of Colin Clark, a young man who somehow wrangled a job on Sir Laurence Olivier’s 1957 film The Prince and the Showgirl and ended up spending a week alone in a cottage with legendary actress Marilyn Monroe.

Director Joshua Marston (The Forgiveness of Blood) moderated the discussion after the DGA screening in in following the DGA screening in New York on November 12.
