Baseball collides with statistical analysis in Director Bennett Miller’s new feature Moneyball, the story of how Oakland A’s general manager Billy Beane (Brad Pitt) successfully assembled a winning major league baseball team on a budget by employing computer-generated analysis to draft his players.

Miller entertained the DGA audience with behind-the-scenes tales about the making of the film in a conversation moderated by Director Mike Nichols (Angels in America) following the DGA screening in New York on October 5.
