IAESDO Screening Series presents "Predicament" a Film from New Zealand

On November 5, the DGA hosted a screening of Director Jason Stutter's feature film Predicament at the Guild's theater complex in Los Angeles.

In Stutter's thriller, a naïve teenager in 1930s New Zealand finds himself in over his head after he conspires with two misfits to photograph and blackmail adulterous couples. When the scam goes wrong, they end up with blood on their hands and he has to find a way out.

Predicament was presented by the Screen Directors Guild of New Zealand (SDGNZ) as part of the International Association of English Speaking Directors Organisations (IAESDO) Screening Series. The DGA has invited the other members of IAESDO to select films not yet released in the United States for screening at the Guild via the Director's Finder Series, which spotlights undistributed low budget and/or independent feature films directed by DGA members.

Following the screening, Stutter participated in a Q&A session moderated by Director Roger Donaldson (The Bank Job).
