On October 13, the DGA's San Francisco Coordinating Committee (SFCC) held its Fall Networking Mixer in the Julia Morgan Ballroom of San Francisco's Merchants Exchange.
The event gave Bay Area-based Guild members and local industry professionals an enjoyable evening of networking with their peers as they celebrated the Northern California film, television and video/digital industry. Highlights of the evening included SFCC Chair Tim Boxell's presentation of an SFCC certificate of merit to Gail Silva - one of the founders of the Film Arts Foundation - in honor of her continuing contributions to the local industry; and SFCC Networking Committee Chair John Slosser's presentation to retiring DGA Field Rep Don Gold, in honor of his three decades of service to DGA members.
