On July 13, 2010, following their monthly meeting at the DGA’s Los Angeles headquarters, the Women’s Steering Committee (WSC) welcomed Directors Lee Shallat Chemel (The Middle), Elodie Keene (Glee), Bethany Rooney (In Plain Sight) and Arlene Sanford (Medium) who engaged in an illuminating discussion about their successful careers, moderated by WSC Co-Chair Donna Parish (It’s Time).

The panelists revealed how they got their first directing jobs, gave their insights into directing and spoke about their journeys in episodic television.
