On April 14, the DGA's Documentary Series screened director Robert Kenner's 2009 DGA and Academy Award-nominated film Food, Inc. in the Guild's Los Angeles Theatre.

Exposing the underbelly of our nation's food industry through interviews with experts and forward-thinking social entrepreneurs, as well as revealing cinematography by DGA member Richard Pearce, Food, Inc. takes a hard look at what we eat, how it's produced, and where we may be going.

After the screening, Documentary Series Sub-Committee Chair Chuck Workman (Precious Images) discussed the making of Food, Inc. with Kenner and Pearce. Kenner has been a member of the DGA since 2000.
