On Tuesday, September 1, the DGA's Asian American Committee (AAC) hosted a conversation with the Asian American Media Coalition (AAMC) following their monthly meeting in the Boardroom of Guild Headquarters in Los Angeles.

The stated mission of the AAMC is to serve individuals, communities and societies as a whole; provide fair and accurate information; advance Asian American concerns; and be a resource for Asian American information and issues. This corresponds with the AAC's goal of providing a forum for interests and problems that concern Asian American Guild members. The meeting served as an exploratory session where the two groups shared notes and insights about the industry and agreed to continue their dialogue in the future.
