The DGA's newest AD/UPM members were given a basic primer on the workings of their Guild on Tuesday, June 9 at the Eastern AD/UPM Council's Navigating the DGA new member orientation.

Held in the boardroom of the Guild's New York offices, the evening gave these new members the opportunity to receive comprehensive information on the responsibilities of membership, collective bargaining agreements, DGA benefits, activities and issues directly affecting their categories from key council and committee members and DGA staffers who were there to answer individual questions. The participants were also invited to the Eastern AD/UPM Council meeting, which took place immediately following the orientation.
