On Tuesday, May 5, 2009, DGA members residing in the vicinity of our nation’s capital came together for a special meeting held at the Washington, D.C. eatery, Maggiano’s. DGA Eastern Executive Director Russ Hollander, East Coast Contracts Adminstrator Bart Daudelin and DGA-Producer Pension and Health Plans CEO Mack Clapp gave the attendees reports on the business of the Guild, covering such topics as Runaway Production and its impact on the DC area, Production Centers, the state of the Guild and the Pension and Health Plans. Earlier in the day, Clapp had conducted 30-minute private individual member meetings to answer specific questions about each member’s pension and health plan.
