On April 6, the Asian American Committee welcomed members to the Guild's Los Angeles Theater for a screening of Director James Wong's new action adventure feature, Dragonball: Evolution.

Dragonball is based on the popular Japanese comic book and animated series about a team of warriors who use their special powers to thwart an evil force bent on dominating the universe. The screening was followed by a discussion with Wong who was joined onstage by several of his Dragonball cast members. DGA director-member Sandy Tung (Alice Upside Down, Saving Shiloh) served as moderator.

Wong previously directed the films The One, Willard, and Final Destination 3 and has been a member of the DGA since 1995.
