Director Q&As in Los Angeles & New York

During the final months of 2008, DGA members in New York and Los Angeles have had the opportunity to attend member screenings followed by Q&A sessions with the films' directors.

In the film Eastwood plays a disgruntled Korean War vet Walt Kowalski who attempts to reform his Hmong teenager neighbor, after the kid tries to steal his prized 1972 Gran Torino. DGA Board Member/Special Projects Committee Chair Jeremy Kagan (Crown Heights) served as moderator. Previously the two discussed Eastwood's other film this season, Changeling, following its Los Angeles screening on October 25.
