On Friday, September 28, the DGA and the Screen Directors Guild of Ireland (SDGI) hosted a screening of Director Tom Collins’ feature Kings, at the DGA’s theatre complex in Los Angeles.

The film was presented as part of the International Association of English Speaking Directors Organizations (IAESDO) Screening Series. The DGA hosts this series as part of its support for IAESDO, which represents director’s organizations in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, The United Kingdom, and the USA.

The IAESDO Screening Series is based on the DGA’s own successful model, the Director’s Finder Screening Series, which spotlights undistributed low budget and/or independent feature films directed by DGA members. The DGA has invited the other members of IAESDO to present films from their countries that have never been released in the USA.

Following the screening, Collins participated in a Q&A session moderated by DGA and SDGI Director-Member Paul Quinn.
