The Executive Committee of the DGA San Francisco Coordinating Committee (SFCC) welcomed members, DGA National Executive Director Jay D. Roth, and DGA- Producers Pension and Health Plans CEO Mack Clapp to the SFCC Annual General Membership Meeting and Reception at the esteemed Concordia-Argonaut Club in San Francisco on Saturday, January 20, 2007.

Thirty-three San Francisco Bay Area members from all Guild categories attended the meeting. Roth reported on some of the important challenges facing the DGA. Clapp reported that the DGA Pension and Health Plans were strong and viable. DGA Assistant Executive Director Rodney Mitchell, and Field Representative Don Gold were also on hand to answer other questions about the Guild.

SFCC Education Sub-committee member Cathy Hammer updated the members on the ongoing educational series. John Slosser, the newly elected Summer Networking Mixer Committee Chair reported on last year’s success at the Bellvue Club in Oakland and discussed the exciting possibility of holding the 2007 mixer at San Francisco City Hall. Mentor Committee Chair Alex Soranno handed out surveys to attending members in order to receive input on the direction of the committee. A reception followed the general membership meeting.
