On Saturday, November 11, 2006, DGA members were able to receive valuable instruction as the Directors Guild-Producer Training Plan, and the Contract Services Administration Trust Fund (CSATF), hosted a safety training session at the CSATF Safety Passport Training Facility in Glendale, California.

CSATF instructor Bob Lewis, who is a member of the DGA, led the participants in a seminar on the industry-mandated rules regarding workplace safety that will allow them to be aware of the information designed to protect their crew. Warner Bros. Safety Representative Lowell Moore was also there to answer questions. Topics covered included general safety training, injury and illness prevention, state and federal safety laws and legal obligations.
