On Tuesday, March 29, DGA Special Projects presented a Special Event screening of director Erik Poppe's Hawaii, Oslo, Norway's official candidate for the Oscar nomination for Best Foreign-Language Feature. The film weaves together five stories of people who cross each other's paths on the hottest day of the year in Oslo.
Following the 6:30 p.m. screening, audiences were able to join the acclaimed filmmaker Poppe, who is also vice president of the Norwegian Directors Guild, for a conversation about the making of the film moderated by DGA Board member Victoria Hochberg.
