The DGA' s newest below-the-line members were formally introduced to their Guild on Saturday, December 4 at " Navigating the DGA," an intimate orientation for new AD, UPM & TC members.

After welcoming remarks from DGA Associate National Executive Director, Warren Adler, attendees received comprehensive information on DGA benefits, activities and issues from a variety of council and committee members. A three-part speech given by DGA members Chase Newhart, Jim Goldthwait and Jules Kovisars, advised new members on what to do before, during, and after a job. In addition, a panel, moderated by Herb Adelman, addressed various "frequently asked questions" regarding DGA perks like the availability lists and the low budget agreement. Panelists included Guild members Lee Blaine, Bob Lewis, D. Scott Easton, and Field Rep. Don Gold. Information on the DGA-Producer Pension and Health Plans was also presented.
