On Wednesday, September 22, 2004, both new and established DGA members attended an informal cocktail reception designed to provide them with the opportunity to socialize and learn more about their Guild. During this reception they had the opportunity to meet the leadership of the DGA in the form of DGA Board Member Taylor Hackford, and executive staff members. Directors McG (Charlie's Angels, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, Fastlane) and Katy Garretson (Frasier, Reba, Girlfriends), also spoke to the audience about the many benefits and activities that Guild membership provides.
