DGA Announces 2000 Nominees for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Daytime Serials and Children's Programs

Directors Guild of America President Jack Shea and Awards Chairperson Howard Storm today announced the DGA's nominees for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Daytime Serials and Children's Programs for 2000. The winners will be announced at the 53rd Annual DGA Awards Dinner on Saturday, March 10, 2001 at the Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles.

The nominees for the Directors Guild of America Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Daytime Serials for 2000 are (in alphabetical order):

BRUCE S. BARRY
Guiding Light (Episode #13562) - CBS
Associate Directors: Natasha S. Katzive, Matthew B. Lagle, Tracey Hanley Bryggman

This is Bruce Barry's fourth DGA Award nomination for Daytime Serials. He was nominated in 1996 for Guiding Light, Episode #12452, in 1995 for Guiding Light, Episode #12063, and in 1993 for Guiding Light, Episode #11644.

All My Children (Episode #7919) - ABC
