A Conversation with Director Phil Lord

On September 24, the Latino Committee’s (LC) meeting featured a conversation with Director Phil Lord.

Moderated by Director Jay Torres (Life), Lord discussed his collaboration with his directing/writing/producing partner Chris Miller. Their films have collectively earned over $3.3 billion at the worldwide box office and they have recently signed a deal at Sony Pictures Television to develop a suite of television series based on Sony's Marvel Characters.

Following the moderated portion of the event, he also took questions from the online audience.

Alongside Miller, Lord’s directing credits include the feature films 21 Jump Street and 22 Jump Street; the animated features The Lego Movie and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs; the pilot for the series Brooklyn Nine-Nine; and episodes of the series The Last Man on Earth. Lord has been a DGA member since 2011.
