A classic sci-fi thriller takes on new sensibilities for modern times in Director Leigh Whannell’s horror-mystery, The Invisible Man.
Whannell’s film tells the story of Cecilia, a woman who suspects that the suicide death of her ex — a wealthy and brilliant, but abusive scientist — was a hoax. As a series of eerie coincidences turns lethal, threatening the lives of those she loves, Cecilia must convince others that she is being hunted by someone nobody can see.
Following the DGA membership screening in Los Angeles on March 1, Whannell sat down with Director David F. Sandberg (Shazam!) to discuss the making of The Invisible Man.
In addition to The Invisible Man, Whannell’s credits include the feature films Upgrade and Insidious: Chapter 3. He has been a DGA member since 2014.
