Director Jeff Wadlow discusses Fantasy Island

An episodic television classic gets a tonal reboot in Director Jeff Wadlow’s new darkly comedic horror-adventure, Fantasy Island.

Set on the mythical tropical resort where dreams can come true, Wadlow’s film shifts into nightmare territory as the guests of the enigmatic Mr. Roarke must solve the island’s mystery in order to escape with their lives.

Following the DGA membership screening in Los Angeles on February 23, Wadlow sat down with Director Christopher Landon (Happy Death Day 2U) to discuss the making of Fantasy Island.

In addition to Fantasy Island, Wadlow’s credits include the feature films True Memoirs of an International Assassin, Kick-Ass 2, Never Back Down and Cry Wolf; and episodes of Ryan Hansen Solves Crimes on Television and Agent X. He has been a DGA member since 2007.
