JC Chandor on Triple Frontier

Director J.C. Chandor discusses Triple Frontier

March 12, 2019 A DGA Q&A in New York

A group of ex-soldiers have to fight for their survival following a heist gone wrong in Director J.C. Chandor’s new action-thriller, Triple Frontier.

Chandor’s film tells the story of five former Special Forces operatives who reunite to rob a cocaine cartel boss in a sparsely populated multi-border zone of South America. But when events take an unexpected turn and threaten to spiral out of control, their skills, their loyalties, and their morals are pushed to a breaking point in an epic battle for survival.

Following the DGA membership screening in New York on March 12, Chandor sat down with Director Tony Gilroy (The Bourne Legacy) to discuss the making of Triple Frontier.

In addition to Triple Frontier, Chandor’s credits include the feature films A Most Violent Year, All Is Lost and Margin Call. Chandor has been a DGA member since 2013.
