Robert Zemeckis: Flight

DGA Award-winning director Robert Zemeckis (Forrest Gump) looks at the dark side of fame in his new feature Flight. In the film, the pilot (Denzel Washington) of a troubled jetliner performs a miraculous landing that saves everyone on board, but an investigation into the malfunctions reveals that he had alcohol in his system during the flight which might land him in prison. Zemeckis, whose filmography includes Cast Away, Contact, the Back to the Future trilogy and the DGA Award-nominated Who Framed Roger Rabbit, discussed the making of the film with director David Koepp (Premium Rush), who moderated the discussion following the October 17 DGA membership screening in New York.
