The transformative power of words takes on a whole new dimension in the new comedy-romance from DGA Award-nominated directors Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris (Little Miss Sunshine). In Ruby Sparks, a struggling writer discovers that the dream girl he has been writing a novel about has somehow come to life. Dayton and Faris entertained the DGA audiences with behind-the-scenes tales about the making of the film in a conversation moderated by director Robert B. Weide (Curb Your Enthusiasm) following the August 12 DGA screening in Los Angeles.
