Director/writer Oren Moverman spoke about how he followed up his best screenplay Academy Award ® nominated film The Messenger, with the action-thriller Rampart.
The film tells the sordid story of a dirty cop who may finally get his reckoning when his division gets caught up in a corruption scandal.
Moverman spoke about directing the film (co-written by crime fiction legend James Ellroy) after the DGA screening in Los Angeles on November 22. Director Rupert Wyatt (Rise of the Planet of the Apes) served as moderator of the discussion.
