On April 4th the DGA's Chicago Coordinating Committee welcomed over 35 members to the seminar Working with the Red Camera.
Guild members from all categories assembled in Chicago for a breakfast "meet and greet," followed by an in-depth presentation about the practical considerations involved in shooting productions with this new high-definition digital camera. Red Camera Representative Ted Schilowitz and Tom Fletcher, Owner and VP of Marketing for Fletcher Camera, provided an in-depth look at the camera with the capacity to rival the detail and richness of analog film.
The seminar also featured a panel discussion with Commercial Directors Michael Graf and John Komnenich, UPM Carrie Holt De Lama, and Commercial 1st AD Rick Rosenmeyer relating their experiences working with the Red Camera.
