2008 DGA Documentary Award Nominees Elizabeth Farnsworth & Patricio Lanfranco (The Judge and the General) and Peter Gilbert & Steve James (At the Death House Door) joined DGA Documentary Awards Committee Chair Lynne Littman, for the second annual Meet the Nominees: Documentary symposium on Friday, January 30, 2009.
Following an introduction by DGA President Michael Apted, clips of each nominated film were shown and then Littman led the nominees in a brief discussion about the making of their films.
Nominees Ari Folman (Waltz with Bashir) Gonzalo Arijon (Stranded: I’ve Come From a Plane That Crashed on the Mountains) were unable to attend.
