The New York Training Program expanded into commercial production in 2007 and launched a West Coast version in Los Angeles in 2010.
On July 12, new ADTP Commercial trainee Javier Vazquez initiated his training with an orientation at DGA headquarters in Los Angeles. On hand to offer guidance were 1st AD/Western AD/UPM Council Commercial Committee Co-Chair Don Yorkshire, 1st ADs/Commercial Committee members John Elmore and Fred Childress, New York ADTP Program Administrator Sandra Forman and Assistant Administrator Laure Scott, DGA Special Assignments Executive Daniel Tenkman, and DGA Contracts and Committee Coordinator Gabriel Kahsay.
