DIRECTOR // CREATOR
Laura trained as an actor. She spent years honing her skills as a storyteller by performing in award winning theater productions and finding her way to improv and sketch comedy eventually gravitating toward directing. Laura broke into television as an Acting/Dialogue Coach, where she used that opportunity as her film school and springboard to open the doors to directing episodes. She got her first shot on the hit Disney Channel show, "Austin & Ally" where she directed multiple episodes. In addition to directing television she has also directed music videos, comedy sketches, proof of concept trailers, commercials, digital shorts series and short films.
She is best known for quickly creating rapport with actors and crafting genuine and grounded performances, working fast without sacrificing quality, navigating politics and being a collaborative leader.
Laura teaches directing at USC School of Cinematic Arts and AFI. She is an active DGA member currently serving as the Women's Steering Committee Director Category Representative as well as being the Coordinator for the WSC Communications and Publicity Committee.
