Mark Maine

Mark Maine was born in La Jolla, California at the old Scripps hospital, which in 1958 was located at 464 Prospect Street, in the "Village" of La Jolla. Maine grew up in the Pacific Beach area of San Diego, CA, and graduated in 1976 from Clairemont High School, which was the inspiration for the 1982 movie, Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Maine formed Angelic in 1996 and today he remains the Founding Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Angelic Pictures, Inc.. Maine is a DGA Movie Director, Writer & Producer and the "Helmer" of each of Angelic's movies. Maine has a diverse background in Corporate Management including executive-level positions in Global Petroleum and International Trade. In the early 1980's Maine served 5-years as a highly decorated Police Officer on the San Diego Police Department. In the mid 1990s Maine served as President & CEO of Sonotec USA, a privately held international manufacturing & shipping company specializing in sound-obsorbing highway components. Maine has participated within the San Diego political arena and he was an active member of the Building Industry Association, the San Diego Regional Chamber Foundation, the Executive Committee of the Business Roundtable for Education, a Corporate Leader for the Junior Achievement with the C.L.A.S.S program and he also served on the Citizens Advisory Council of the San Diego City College District. Today, In addition to movie production, Maine concentrates his efforts towards establishing movie production facilities and a viable movie business within San Diego County.
