California Film & Television Production Alliance Statement on Approval of Film and TV Tax Credit Program 2.0 Regulations

California Film & Television Production Alliance

April 14, 2015

The California Film & Television Production Alliance – a coalition of guilds, unions, producers, small businesses, studios, and associations which played an instrumental role in the successful effort to pass the California Film and Television Job Retention and Promotion Act in 2014 – thanks Governor Brown and his Administration, including Go Biz, the Department of Finance and the California Film Commission, for their rapid implementation of AB 1839. We also want to thank the Senators and Assembly Members for their continued support of this investment in one of our State’s signature industries, including continued funding for the work of the California Film Commission. Thanks to the timely issuance of these regulations, California is now fully competitive for 2015 television series and feature films.
