During a recent trip to New York, DGA President Thomas Schlamme and National Executive Director Russell Hollander paid a visit to members of the Guild at their work on productions based in the area.
On September 6, Schlamme and Hollander met with directors and their teams on the sets of the CBS programs Elementary and Madam Secretary and spoke with them about the issues they are facing. The following day, they met with DGA members working on live broadcasts at CBS and Comedy Central.
Schlamme and Hollander also attended the Eastern AD/SM/PA and AD/UPM Council meetings that same week at the DGA’s New York offices.
