All Voting for DGA Awards Will Now Take Place Completely Online
Every year for the last nine years, more and more DGA members have taken advantage of online voting – the fastest, easiest and most direct way for members to cast their votes for the DGA Awards.
Acknowledging the trend and encouraging another environmentally-conscious practice at the DGA, the National Board in May decided to move all Awards voting completely online beginning this awards season.
Members can vote for the Feature Film Award (both nomination and final ballots) and the Television categories via the secure online voting system created for the DGA by Votenet.
The Votenet site is accessible only to DGA members via a link on the DGA’s website www.dga.org. You must have an email address on file with the DGA in order to log in at the DGA website – please call (310) 289-2082 or email cjarrett@dga.org if you have not yet provided an email address.
Online voting for the 65th Annual DGA Awards is scheduled to begin in December 2012:
- Feature Film Nomination: December 4, 2012 – January 7, 2013
- Television Nominations: December 17, 2012 – January 7, 2013
- Feature Film Final Ballot: January 10 – February 1, 2013
