SFCC Fall Mixer 2016

Bay Area Members Attend 2016 SFCC Fall Mixer

November 10, 2016 A San Francisco Coordinating Committee Event

Bay Area-based DGA members celebrated the Northern California film, television and video/digital industry during the San Francisco Coordinating Committee (SFCC)’s 2016 Fall Networking Mixer. Held at The City Club of San Francisco on November 10, the evening featured a welcoming address from recently reelected SFCC Chair John Morse. Morse thanked the attendees for their support that resulted in the passage of AB 1839, the California Film & Television Job Retention and Promotion Act, which is designed to help keep film and television jobs in the state. Afterwards the attendees enjoyed an evening of networking and socializing with their peers and other local industry professionals.

About the Committee:

The SFCC was formed in 1978 to coordinate Guild activities in the Bay Area. The Committee hosts a number of educational presentations and networking events during the year, in order to fulfill its objectives of facilitating the exchange of ideas, maintaining contacts with other guilds and unions, and furthering professional opportunities for all Northern California DGA members.
