WSC Hosts Talent Agents Panel Discussion

June 14, 2016 A Women's Steering Committee Event

On June 14, the attendees of the DGA Women’s Steering Committee (WSC) also enjoyed a special panel discussion, An Agent's Perspective. Held in the Guild’s Los Angeles Boardroom, the event featured straight talk from a panel of talent agents about the current needs and trends of the industry. In a conversation moderated by Director Martha Cotton, ICM Partners Co-Head of Television Production Sean Freidin, Verve’s Co-Head of the Television Literary Department Amy Retzinger, and the Brant Rose Agency’s Brant and Toochis Morin Rose covered topics such as what to expect from an agent, what Directors should still be doing in spite of having an agent and what the networks are asking for in Directors. The panelists also mingled with the attendees and answered questions prior to the WSC’s monthly meeting.
